Teaching Preferences and References books
As a researcher in math, I mainly study PDEs arising from fluid dynamics. However, it is harmonic analysis (and its applications in PDEs) that excited my interest in mathematics when I was a student.
Among those fundamental and regularly-offered courses in Analysis and PDEs, my teaching preference is:
PDE > Harmonic Analysis > Real Analysis > ODE > Mathematical Analysis > Functional Analysis.
This webpage records my (personal) suggestions on reference books, syllabi (if I teach any of these courses) and sequences of course study for these fundamental courses.
All contents are based on the cultivating plan for undergraduate students at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
