Short Bio:
- My name is Junyan ZHANG. I was born October 1996 and grew up in NanChang City, JiangXi Province, China. I am now a postdoc(Peng Tsu Ann Assistant Professor) in the Department of Mathematics at National University of Singapore. My postdoc mentor is Professor Yao Yao.
- I obtained Ph.D. degree in Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University on May 2022. My Ph.D. advisor was Professor Hans Lindblad. On June 2017, I obtained B.Sc. degree in Mathematics at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). My undergraduate advisor was Professor Lifeng Zhao. Back to June 2013, I graduated from the Class of the Gifted Young (5-Year coherent middle/high school) at Nanchang No.10 Middle School.
- I am interested in the PDEs of fluids. Currently I study free-boundary evolutionary problems and singular limits of compressible flows. Details about my research can be found here. Teaching information can be found here.
